Chapter 15, Sustainable Climate Change Analysis of Renewable Power

Human well-being is enhanced by energy development, but there are environmental costs as well. While switching from fossil fuels to renewable energy might slow down global warming, it could also make it more difficult to accomplish some or all of the 18 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this research, the researcher builds a complete roadmap of solar and wind energy using an innovative systems approach to foresee and ameliorate the implications of a shift to a low-carbon future while making sure that SDGs and climate objectives are mutually reinforcing. The interdisciplinary approach started with a two-day workshop on research prioritisation, which was followed by an evaluation of public funding in renewable energy. Six study issues that proactively address the environmental responsibility of renewable energy were highlighted by fifty-eight expert workshop participants. The researcher then determined connections between each of the 17 SDGs and the six study subjects. To evaluate the research maturation of these issues, the researcher lastly performed a scientiometric study
